A. Complete disassembly of all mechanical systems, ultrasonic degreasing / cleaning of all parts. Regrease, assemble & set proper focus tensions. Repair all components including mechanical stages.
B. Clean body, frame, stage condenser, and illuminator. Entire optical system is disassembled and thoroughly cleaned, (including 100x oil lenses & eyepieces), reassembled, aligned and inspected for clarity.
C. Replace broken, defective or missing parts. Re-spring stage clips.
D. Parfocal objective lenses. This provides focus continuity through each change of magnification power.
E. Rewire and/or secure illuminators, replace electrical cords, plugs, switches, rheostats, and regulators.
F. "Student Proofing" is done so that all component parts (eyepieces, eyetubes, heads, objective lenses, stage clips, mechanical stages, focusing knobs, illuminators, etc.) are secured to the microscope and cannot be removed without proper tools. The entire optical system is sealed, preventing internal contamination.
